After School Program at the Boys & Girls Club of Santa Clarita Valley
It’s important to have a safe, engaging, and enriching environment for your child after school. Our After School Program is designed to provide kids with a balance of academic support, healthy snacks, and fun-filled activities that keep them excited to return each day.
A Safe, Structured Environment for Your Child
Our After School Program is offered Monday through Friday from 2 PM to 7 PM, covering the critical hours when school is out and parents are still at work. With experienced, caring staff on hand, you can be assured that your child is in a secure, supervised environment where they are encouraged to learn, grow, and have fun.
Homework Help Every Day
We know how important academic success is for your child’s future. That’s why our program includes dedicated homework time every day. Through our Power Hour initiative, our staff provides one-on-one homework help and tutoring, ensuring that each child has the opportunity to complete their assignments and gain a better understanding of their studies before they head home.
Healthy Snacks to Keep Them Energized
Each day, club members receive a nutritious snack to keep them fueled and focused throughout the afternoon. We understand the importance of healthy eating, which is why our snacks are part of our Triple Play program, designed to promote good nutrition and overall wellness for all participants
A Variety of Fun and Enriching Activities
The Boys & Girls Club of Santa Clarita Valley is not just a place for academic support—it’s a place for fun! Your child will have access to a wide range of exciting activities, including:
- Sports & Recreation: From basketball and soccer to dodgeball and flag football, we offer a variety of sports that promote physical fitness and teach teamwork and sportsmanship.
- Arts & Crafts: Let your child’s creativity shine with arts and crafts projects designed to encourage self-expression
- STEM Programs: Our engaging STEM activities, including DIY STEM and Robotics, connect kids with science in a fun, hands-on way
